Two ways to practise: Root & Move

At we are yoga we don't split our practices by level. All of our classes are multi-level, because we believe yoga is a practice that adapts to each person, not a practice the person has to adapt to.

Whether you've been practising for years or you're taking your first steps in yoga, you're welcome in every one of our classes. Each practice offers different options and variations so you can explore it according to your experience, condition and where you are that day.

To help you choose the practice that best fits what you're looking for, our classes are grouped into two categories: Root and Move.

ROOT — Connect, go deeper, inhabit the practice

These are slower-paced practices, focused on presence, mobility, breath, body awareness and connection with yourself.

In Root you'll find styles such as Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, among others. These are practices that invite you to slow down, observe and go deeper, both physically and mentally.

Within this category you'll also find sessions specifically focused on meditation.

At we are yoga we understand meditation as a fundamental part of the practice. There's no single way to meditate: there are different techniques, methods and paths to cultivate attention, presence and calm. That's why some of our Root practices will be dedicated specifically to meditation, offering a space to explore different ways of approaching it.

MOVE — Move, flow, transform

These are more dynamic, active practices, where movement and breath come together to create a more energetic, flowing experience.

In Move you'll find styles such as Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Rocket, among others. These practices can be more physically demanding, but like all of our classes, they're designed so every student can find their own pace and level of challenge.

A space for meditation

Meditation isn't limited to a class schedule.

That's why we are yoga has a dedicated meditation room, a space created to cultivate this practice, which you can access throughout the day.

We want meditation to become part of your life in a natural way: to be able to arrive, sit for a few minutes, breathe, observe and simply be.

Because just as there are moments to move the body, there are also moments to stop.

Root or Move. Movement or stillness. Where you want to take your practice is up to you.

At we are yoga we believe there's no single way to practise yoga. There are days to root down, days to move, and days to simply be. What matters is finding the practice you need in each moment.
